Ingredients and Directions
- Maple Bacon Jam
Directions
Add the bacon and onions to a stock pot over medium heat.
Cook until the onions are caramelized & the bacon is completely cooked.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the pot (maple syrup, brown sugar and apple cider vinegar).
Cook for 20 minutes or until thickened.
Remove from heat. Set aside.
Ingredients
- 1 lb bacon, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1/4 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- Burgers
Directions
Heat the oven to 425 degrees, place the two hash brown patties on a baking sheet and bake for approx. 8-12 mins until crispy, set aside.
Create 4 equal sized balls with the ground beef. Heat up a griddle pan over medium heat. Depending on the size of the griddle (will spread approximately 4” extra in diameter) smash the burger down with a strong spatula or a burger press. Cook for 3-4 mins, flip, add a slice of cheese per patty. Cook for an additional 2-3 mins. Stack two burger patties on top of each other.
Place a separate nonstick pan over medium heat. Break the eggs into a bowl & add the eggs to the pan, approx. 2-3 mins per side.
Assemble the hamburger buns by adding the ketchup to the base of the burger, then the hash brown, burger, bacon jam, & top it with the egg. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 2 hash brown patties
- ½ lb ground beef
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 large eggs

To ensure food safety, eggs should be cooked until both the yolk and the white are firm. Consuming raw or undercooked eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially for those with certain medical conditions. For recipes that call for eggs that are raw or undercooked when the dish is served, use either pasteurized shell eggs that have been treated to destroy Salmonella, or use pasteurized egg products.
