Ingredients and Directions
Directions
Preheat oven to 400° F.
Crack open the eggs, adding the egg whites to a large bowl and setting the yolks (make sure it stays intact) aside in a small dish.
Using an electric beater, whip egg whites until they form a stiff peak. This will take about 4-5 minutes. Next, add the cornstarch, garlic powder and onion powder and beat until incorporated.
Add the whipped egg whites to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, smoothing into an even circle. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
Remove bread from the oven and add the pizza sauce, egg yolks, mozzarella cheese and additional toppings, as desired.
Bake for another 7 minutes. Remove, slice and enjoy!
Ingredients
- 3 large eggs, separating the whites and yolks (reserving both)
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- pepperoni (optional)
- grated parmesan cheese (optional)
- handful arugula lettuce (optional)
To ensure food safety, eggs should be cooked until both the yolk and the white are firm. Consuming raw or undercooked eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially for those with certain medical conditions. For recipes that call for eggs that are raw or undercooked when the dish is served, use either pasteurized shell eggs that have been treated to destroy Salmonella, or use pasteurized egg products.
